Why we do What we do
The purpose behind Tamarisk and the Festival of the Trees is to be a blessing to others in our community. We have chosen to live out this purpose by using the proceeds from the Festival of the Trees to distribute grants to either individuals/families that have suffered hardships or to a local nonprofit who is serving our local residents and their impact is directly affecting Sheboygan County. This is the ultimate opportunity to pay it forward, and we can't wait to be a blessing.
In order to be eligible to receive a grant, you must fully agree with our Statement of Faith found on our home page as this will be our compass as we select our recipients.
